Born in 1985, Rotem Kaplinsky graduated from the Sam Spiegel Film & TV School. In 2011 he was awarded the America–Israel Cultural Foundation – Galit Rosen Award for achievement in directing and writing for his short film “Blink of an Eye”. His short film “Line of Grace” won Best Short at the 2015 Jerusalem Film Festival and Best Independent Short at the 2015 Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival, and was screened in festivals in Italy, the US and Australia. Rotem is one of the three creators of “Arutz HaKibud”, a weekly slot on the Israeli TV comedy show “Eretz Nehederet”.
